About Us

On April 26, 2023 original founding members Robert Egbert and Thomas Kennedy Sr, stepped down and asked Jenn Visconti (Kelly) if she would be willing to take on the responsibility of restructuring the organization. Throughout the summer, prior and new members formed an executive board working tirelessly to rebuild. Collectively it was decided the organization must remain true to the principles on which is was originally formed.
During the November 27, 2023 executive board meeting it was decided the organization would be named Honor 37 in memory of the 37 Port Authority Police Department members who were killed on September 11, 2001. Honor 37’s mission is “honoring the fallen, remembering the families.”
In order to support the mission members continue participate in fundraising bicycle rides to raise awareness of fallen law enforcement officers and support the families of those lost. On August 10, 2023 Jenn spoke with Law Enforcement United’s President Wallace Chadwick regarding Honor 37’s interest in participating in LEU’s Road to Hope.
Members of LEU Executive Board traveled to Northvale NJ and met with Honor 37’s Executive Board at Jamis’ Headquarters on October 4, 2023 to explore the possibility of participating in the 2024 Road to Hope.
On October 9th the Executive Board of Law Enforcement United voted unanimously to approve a probationary sanctioned ride where Honor 37 would have the responsibility of developing their own route and logistics with LEU’s oversight.
Honor 37’s Executive Board met again on November 27th at JC Fogarty’s in Bronxville, NY and began planning for the 2024 Road to Hope. Additionally the board worked to establish by-laws and 501(c)(3) status for Honor 37.
On May 9, 2024 the Honor 37’s inaugural LEU Road to Hope began with a memorial service at the 9/11 Memorial. Over the course of four days members road bicycles with motorcycle support from NYC to Washington DC, approximately 250 miles. Honor 37’s support team was instrumental in making the inaugural ride a success.
Members of LEU Executive Board met on June 12, 2024 and officially approved Honor 37 as the NY Division for LEU’s Road to Hope. As Honor 37’s membership continues to grow, we will continue supporting organizations who share in our mission.
