Founded by officers, survivors, and civilian supporters, Honor 37 is a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to honoring those who gave their lives in the line of duty—and ensuring their families are never forgotten through ongoing support and programs.
HONOR 37
Honor 37 was named in honor of the 37 Port Authority Police Officers who were killed in the line of duty on September 11th, 2001. We participate in charitable bicycle rides which support our mission of honoring the fallen and remembering their survivors. Honor 37 has been named the NY Division for Law Enforcement United's Road to Hope. Members ride bicycles from the 9/11 Memorial to Washington D.C. during Police Memorial Week in honor of all fallen law enforcement officers.

On September 13th, Honor 37 will host our first annual Ride of Remembrance to mark the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack.
Honor 37 / Chapter 37 was born from this terrorist attack, with our namesake honoring the 37 Port Authority police officers killed that fateful day.We will begin in Fort Lee, NJ, making our way into NYC. You will have the opportunity to ride through both the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels and pay respects at the World Trade Center memorial. There will be a rest stop midway and a barbecue upon completion.The ride will be 37 miles in total and is open to the public, so please share this with your family, friends, and riding clubs. The experience of riding through the NYC tunnels while they are closed to traffic presents a special and unique opportunity.All participants will also receive a 9/11 25th Anniversary challenge coin. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
